Wakamow Valley is bringing back the annual, mouth-watering Festival of Flavours event on Thursday September 21. The tasty fundraiser, now in its 14th year, is being held at an exciting new venue and also earlier in the year than usual as Ailsa McKeen, Event Coordinator at Wakamow Valley explains:

“We felt that it would be good to change things up this year and were thrilled when Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa generously offered to host the event. Their banquet room perfectly complements this event and will provide guests with more space to mingle and enjoy the delicious food and drink provided by the talented vendors.”

Guests can enjoy specialty dishes and drinks from an array of restaurants and listen to live music all under one roof while raising money for a local community project.

Proceeds from this event, will go towards replacing the 30 year old wooden structure in Connor Park with an innovative Pro 4000 Challenge Course designed for teens and adults. The first of its kind in Moose Jaw, the Connor Park Challenge Course will be a fun, interactive obstacle course that provides opportunities for kids and adults alike, to engage in healthy play, friendly competition, socializing and physical activity. The goal is to raise $120,000 of which $70,000 has been secured to date through fundraising, private donations and grants.

Tickets are $25 which includes admission and 5 tasting coupons and can be purchased over the phone or at the Wakamow Valley office on 276 Home St. E. Further coupons can then be purchased for $1 per coupon.
