The intersection of Main Street North and High Street has been reopened following a collision involving a truck and an ambulance.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision, one vehicle has been towed and reports indicate $30,000 in damage as a result of the incident.

The Moose Jaw Police Service reminds the public to yield to emergency vehicles while emergency lights are on.

We'll update the story as more information becomes available.

Troy Davies, director of public affairs for Medavie Health Services West, issued the following statement by email:

"I can confirm that our ambulance was involved in a motor vehicle crash that is currently under investigation by MJ police. The ambulance has been taken out of service to assess the amount of damage and replaced with one of our back-up units.

"Thankfully, there were no injuries as a result of this crash and we were able to immediately deploy another ambulance to the call that this unit was responding to, resulting in minimal delays."
