Yes it's cold but forecasters are trying to look at the sunny side of the street, at least we're not in a blizzard.

There's even more cold for Saskatchewan to end the week as forecasters warn that we won't actually warm up Friday afternoon but rather cool off.  The new forecast shows we'll drop to -27 degrees and then down to -35 overnight.  When you factor in the wind, it'll feel like -45 at times.

"We rarely see any large areas of precipitation when we see these kinds of cold temperatures so one of the benefits of this cold arctic air is that we'll have sunny skies over the next week." said Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, John Paul Cragg.

That's little solace for those having to work outside though as they try to work in the frigid conditions.  Officials are warning that if you do have to go outside, Limit your time outside, bundle up, cover as much skin as you can and if leaving the city in a vehicle be sure to take proper precautions like having a full tank of fuel, a cell phone and a winter survival kit.
