Moose Jaw Police responded to 31 calls for service.

7:49 am – 0 Block Hochelaga St W – Well-Being Check – A subject was found sleeping in a running vehicle. The subject was in fine health and was not intoxicated; they were just having a rest before moving on.

9:16 am – 1300 Block Queen Cres – Harassing Texts – A complainant was receiving unwanted texts from another person. The other party was spoken to and warned to stop all contact as the per complainant’s wishes.

11:02 am – 1st Ave NW at Ominica St W – Motor Vehicle Collision – There was a report of a two vehicle collision. No one was injured, no vehicles required towing and there were no charges. Police assisted with name exchange between drivers.

11:58 am – 1100 Block Vaughan St – Assist Other Police Agency - Moose Jaw Police Service did some further follow-up investigation for another police agency.

12:30 pm – 1000 Block Monk Ave – Towed Vehicle – A vehicle had been parked on the street without moving for two weeks contrary to the parking bylaw. The vehicle was towed.

1:02 pm – 0 Block Main St N – Unwanted Guest – An unknown male was knocking on the door of a hotel room. Police checked the area, but the male and associated vehicle were not located in the area.

7:27 pm – 1300 Block 6th Ave NW – Assist Other Agency – Moose Jaw Police Service assisted another agency in locating a subject.

8:28 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Dispute – A complainant was receiving unwanted contact from a subject who was asked to stop. The subject was contacted at the complainant’s wishes and was warned once again to stop all contact.

8:47 pm– 9th Ave Bridge – Driving Dangerous – There was a report of a vehicle tailgating another vehicle. The plate number was obtained, and police are still investigating to speak to the other driver as per the complainant’s wishes.

9:51 pm – 0 Block Home St E – Cause Disturbance – Two subjects were having a disagreement and causing a disturbance on the street. Both subjects were brought to cells where they were held until sober.

10:17 pm – 1300 Block 12th Ave SW – There was a subject in the area who tried opening a window. The area was checked and the subject was not located. Photos of footwear impressions were taken for further investigation

10:34 pm – 100 Block Fairford St W – Dispute – There was a report of a heated argument with yelling, banging and loud music. One party left the residence prior to police arrival, and no further police action was required.

10:49 pm – 1500 Block Main St N – Assault – An alcohol -fuelled argument turned physical. One subject was charged with assault and is to be released in front of a judge, with conditions, in the morning.

1:57 am – 0 Block Bluebell Cr – Dispute – There was a dispute between family members. One party left prior to police arrival, and no further police actions were requested.

2:32 am – 1000 Iroquois St W – Dispute – One party had left to cool off prior to police arrival. The subject was not wanting any further police action.

4:39 am – 600 Block Fairford St E – Dispute – There was a dispute over property. The subjects were advised to resolve the dispute after a good night’s sleep.
