The Canadian Forces Snowbirds have returned to Moose Jaw following the tragedy that struck them in Kamloops over a week ago.

While the Snowbirds' Tutor aircraft are grounded, they returned from Eastern Canada in a Hercules plane after carrying Cpt. Jenn Casey to her hometown of Halifax.

The Hercules flew a zig-zag pattern over Moose Jaw before landing at 15 Wing.

During this time, residents were encouraged to do anything visible from the air to show their support, whether it was using a flag or drawing a heart with chalk on your driveway.

Wakamow Valley Authority mowed a giant heart into the grass off of Fourth Avenue as a show of support.

Cars were asked to park in a giant heart-shaped formation at the Tourism Moose Jaw parking lot, and Honourary Colonel Lisa Franks and the Saskatchewan Roughriders set up a massive Canadian Flag on the sports field next to Central Collegiate.
