As we reported earlier this week, the Government of Saskatchewan has announced that it has increased the annual application intake for two popular immigrant sub-categories.

Here in Moose Jaw, the local effects are best seen by the Newcomers centre, and Lilly Selvaraj with the centre said they've seen a change.

"We help a lot of newcomers and definitely we have seen them working for farm, agriculture, skilled trades and more."

The two-sub categories are apart of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program[SNIP]. They are the International Skilled Worker Express Entry and the International Skilled Worker Occupation in Demand.
