"Author Describes Her Grief Journey in Book" -  A year ago, that was the headline on DiscoverMooseJaw.com.

Grief grips everyone at least once in their life. The question is, what do you do when it hits you?  You may ask yourself, “Who am I now, how will I survive?”

One Assiniboia-based author answered those questions after her husband passed away in 2014.  Gaylene Guillemin had a tough time going through the process of life after her husband died and, in her new book, "Beyond Shattered Dreams", she talks about her grieving process, what inspired her to keep moving forward and how she made it through the most difficult time in her life.

Gaylene took her book and her story on tour at this time last year and the tour continues a year later.  In fact Gaylene has a book signing on Friday (March 1st) in Moose Jaw.  She was in for a recent edition of The Heartland at Noon.

This is Gaylene with her granddaughter, Kinsley.
