Moose Jaw Police responded to 54 calls for service.

8:20 am - Theft Under – A large animatronic inflatable dragon valued at $200 was stolen sometime overnight.

8:41 am - Bike Theft – A Triumph 18-speed lime green bike was stolen from a parking lot last night, and is valued at $200.

8:45 am – Mischief – A vehicle window was broken sometime overnight, causing $400 in damages.

9:02 am - Theft of Auto – A black 2001 Ford Ranger bearing Sask plate 181KYR was stolen sometime overnight.

9:43 am – Assault – Police continue to investigate, and charges are pending.

9:47 am - Break and Enter – A business was broken into and property was taken.  Video was obtained, and police continue to investigate.

11:48 am – Mischief – There was an attempt theft of a vehicle. The steering column was ripped off with damage to the ignition, causing approximately $400 in damages.

12:09 pm – Theft – Property was missing from an apartment, and the complainant had a suspect.  Police are investigating for possible video.

12:40 pm – MVA – A two vehicle collision caused approximately $30,000 of damage and both vehicles were towed. Three people were injured and one ticket was issued.

1:31 pm – Break & Enter – Multiple storage units were broken into over the weekend.  Police continue to investigate.

2:09 pm – Erratic Driving – A plate number was obtained from a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner.  The registered owner is to be spoken to.

3:16 pm - Hit and Run – This occurred at 1 pm on October 18, 2018. There was approximately $2000 in damage to the rear quarter panel of the vehicle.

4:13 pm - Recovered Stolen Auto – A white Dodge truck was located and the owner was notified.

5:30 pm – Fraud – A subject left an establishment without paying their tab. Video of the suspect was obtained.  Charges are pending for obtaining food fraudulently.

8:30 pm – Barking Dog – A dog was out all day barking non-stop.  The home owner was warned under the bylaw.

9:52 pm – Barking Dog – Dogs were constantly barking.  The home owner was warned under the bylaw.

1:36 pm – Theft – The licence plate was stolen off a trailer.  It was added to the database as stolen.

4:53 am – Break & Enter – A storage bay was located with a broken lock on it.  It is unknown when this may have occurred, and it is under investigation to speak to the owner.
