Despite last Thursday being a day typically designated to showing gratitude to our loved ones, the Moose Jaw Police Service spent the evening responding to two separate stabbing incidents in the city

The second call they received was for a victim who had been stabbed in the chest and was rushed to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. According to the Moose Jaw Police Service, they arrested adult male Chayden Warford in relation to the incident.

Officers "were able to ascertain the suspect" was Warford and issued an Attempted Murder Warrant for his arrest. Following issuing the warrant, they located the suspect and arrested him without incident on Tuesday evening around 5 pm.

The suspect turned himself in after being the subject of their weekly feature on social media called "Warrant Wednesday".

Warford is expected to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
