One of the two accused in the murder of 21-year-old Tyrus Ayerst back on August 17th, 2018, during what was considered a botched robbery, appeared in court Tuesday and will return as soon as Wednesday.

According to the Crown Prosecutor, 20-year-old Sherwyn Pelletier's case was adjourned because the Crown will be presenting a new charge. They also noted that they are expecting Pelletier to enter a guilty plea to that new charge.

Pelltier, along with 24-year-old Thomas Redsky McNab, was facing various charges following the incident last summer including 2nd degree murder, breaking and entering into a home on Flax Road with the intent to commit robbery, wearing a mask and various firearms charges.
