Following a Snowfall Warning issued by Environment Canada that is expected to bring 10 to 20 centimetres of snow to the Moose Jaw area on Thursday into Friday, Discover Moose Jaw wanted to advise you of current road conditions before heading out this morning. 

Below is an update on area highways as of 4:50 a.m. Thursday morning:

Highway 1 eastbound to Regina: Winter driving conditions exist from Moose Jaw to Belle Plaine as there is some drifting snow, but good visibility. From Bella Plaine to Regina the conditions improve with seasonal driving conditions. 

Highway 1 westbound to Swift Current: Motorists can expect winter driving conditions from Moose Jaw to Parkbeg, with good visibility and some drifting snow. From Parkbeg to Swift Current the conditions switch to seasonal driving conditions. 

Highway 2 north to Chamberlain: Winter driving conditions, with good visibility and drifting snow. 

Highway 2 south to Assiniboia: Motorists can expect seasonal driving conditions, and some snow drifts along the highway.
