Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for southern Saskatchewan.

The weather service says that conditions Tuesday afternoon are "favourable for the development of funnel clouds in several regions, including areas around Moose Jaw, Pense, Craik, Chaplin, Chamberlain, Eyebrow and Shamrock.

Environment Canada says that funnel cloud sightings should be "treated seriously" and if you see one nearby, take shelter.

If you spot a funnel cloud and take a picture, you can share it with the Submit News feature at Discover Moose Jaw.
