Moose Jaw RCMP make a major bust along the TransCanada Highway Thursday as they seized six kilograms of cocaine from a Winnipeg man.

Just two days after Moose Jaw Police made a cocaine bust, local RCMP have done just the same... only on a much larger scale.

RCMP have seized six kilograms of cocaine after they stopped a vehicle just after noon Thursday on the TransCanada Highway near Caronport for a traffic violation. Police noticed something that sparked their interest and a K9 Unit was used to search the vehicle, eventually finding the massive amount of cocaine.

57 year old Douglas Pritchard of Winnipeg has been arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and is making a court appearance Friday.

The street value of the cocaine is estimated at $480,000 and RCMP say it could have supplied hundreds of people for several days each.
