The best month over month and year over year increase in wholesale trade in the entire country happened in Saskatchewan last month.

Wholesale trade in Saskatchewan was up 18.2 per cent, seasonally adjusted, in February this year compared to last year. It jumped 7.5 per cent compared to January.

“This sustained growth reflects strong market confidence and demand for Saskatchewan products indicating that our economy is on the right track," said trade minister Jeremy Harrison in a media release.

The total in wholesale trade for February was $2.4 billion.
