Just before 3 pm Tuesday afternoon Environment Canada issued another weather alert for the city of Moose Jaw and surrounding area.

The weather advisory is indicating that area residents could see funnel clouds develop according to their website.

"These types of funnel clouds are generated by weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms. This weak rotation is normally not a danger near the ground. However, there is a chance that this rotation could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado. If conditions become more favourable for the development of landspout tornadoes, watches and warnings will be issued by Environment Canada."

Noting that funnel clouds typically appear with little to no warning, all residents should seek shelter at the sight of one in the sky and stay up to date on any developments issued by Environment Canada.
