With so many people in self-isolation and the total lack of any significant social interaction it's become doubly important to get fresh air.

And whats a better way to do that than going out and enjoying one of Moose Jaws many parks and trails.

Todd Johnson is the General Manager for the Wakamow Valley Authority.

"All of our paths are wide open and we have 500 acres here. There are lots of places to go and sit and enjoy through bike rides, and walking. People are already kayaking. Those are some of the things we hope people do but of course, the overarching thing is the social distancing making sure everyone keeps safe and keeps everyone else safe."

Johnson also added a word about the upcoming camping season.

"June 1st is the day that our campground is going to open and we're following all the provincial guidelines there as well so only every second campsite will be rented and of course people can call and reserve their site. Washrooms, showers, and laundry facilities will be closed though."

Johnson encouraged everyone to keep each other safe an to get outside and recharge.
