It could be the worst incident of multiple homicides in Regina's recent history.

On Friday, a property manager had entered a household on the 300 block of Regina's Oakview drive after neighbours reported strange odours coming from the townhouse. He discovered a body and called in the police, who found a total of three dead people inside; a man, a woman, and a little boy.

The bodies have not been identified. Investigators say the tenants who had been living in the house are unaccounted for, but emphasize that it doesn't mean they are the deceased. They also say it looks like the bodies went unnoticed for several days.

While there aren't any conclusions on the matter, Regina police are treating the deaths as homicides.

More details will follow after the autopsies on Monday. Police will remain at the scene until then.
