Reaching out to all Metis people in and around Moose Jaw, the New Southern Plains Metis Local 160 are conducting a survey online to find out the needs and wants from residents.

The survey is online on the Local 160's Facebook page, and spokesperson Angela Blondeau said there is a deadline.

"It will conclude on August 15th. We're thinking it will take about a month, month and a half to go through the data. It sort of depends on how many people take the survey. From there, once the data from the survey is collected, it will be analyzed, and a report with recommendations will be written, then posted publicly."

Blondeau said any and all recommendations would be for Moose Jaw Metis Local, and it will assist them in planning for programs and services for Metis people in Moose Jaw.  The survey can also be found here.
