This past weekend was the annual Summer Solstice Festival in Gravelbourg with hundreds of people flocking to the town south of Moose Jaw for culture, food and entertainment.

Organizer Sheryn Bakke said that in the last 5-10 years the festival has seen an incredible amount of growth, going from using semi-trailers as their main stage to now using the park.

"Our vendors only used to be in Soucy Park and now, they're all down Main Street. It has grown so much, it's unbelievable."

Bakke said this past weekend was the 17th annual and she got involved roughly four years ago.
