A group of citizens has banded together on Facebook to try to connect people's needs with those offering services.

'A Little Help From My Friends - Moose Jaw' started small but has grown to over 600 members as of Saturday.

Group member Dalise Hector explained how the group works.

"Its basically just an opportunity to bring the community together to connect and work together to respond to these unprecedented times and experiences that we're having."

"Its a connection point. As a group, we aren't offering any services or anything like that to anybody, but we're providing an opportunity for everyone to come together and bring with them whatever resources they may have."

The group specifically says it is "not a discussion group or a news update group. It’s a place for people to put that call out when they inevitably run out of their last square of toilet paper."

Some people are offering to run errands for vulnerable people or offering homemade soup and bannock.
