The Moose Jaw Multicultural Council and the Newcomer Welcome Centre are hosting their 5th Annual International Dinner this Friday at St Andrews Church Social Hall.

The meal will feature dishes from such countries as India, Ethiopia, and Syria, and will feature entertainment from a number of different cultures.

Tyler Bastedo is the Community Connections Coordinator with the Multicultural Council and says the funds will help our new neighbours get a better look at the community.

"All proceeds go towards classroom activities, field trips or programs," said Bastedo. "It's a really good way to get some funds so they can access recreation and services that they might not be able to access on their own."

Bastedo says the event typically sells out and will feature food from Syria, India, Ethiopia, as well as some Canadian. The night will also feature entertainment from cultures around the world.

Tickets are $15 per adult or $10 per child (12 & under) and can be purchased at the Moose Jaw Multicultural Council and Newcomer Welcome Centre.
