The monthly report from the Regina Association of Realtors is showing positive numbers compared to the same time last year.

Real Estate Sales Up, Building Report Shows Promise

There were 43 sales in the city recorded in October, up 13.2% from October 2018 and up 2.4% from the five-year average.

The monthly report also stated that although the city saw a sales increase, the region as a whole saw a dip of 12% from 50 last year.

Sales volume for the month is up in both the city and the region. Moose Jaw saw sales of $9.3M
in the city and $9.6M in the region, both up from last October.

The Building Permit Report for the month of October stating that a total of 23 new permits were issued, with five being commercial and 18 being residential.

Two permits worth noting were for the Town 'N' Country Mall, valued at $3.54M in total for the two permits.

The total for permits issued in October 2019 sits at $6,209,305.00.
