A preliminary hearing is taking place in Moose Jaw this week, to decide if Tyrel Munroe will stand trial for second-degree murder. A judge is set to decide if there is enough evidence to warrant a trial.

19-year-old Munroe was accused of killing 21-year-old Bailey Anderson following an altercation in the early hours of March 13 on 3rd Avenue in Moose Jaw.

Following a Canada-wide warrant, Munroe was taken into custody without incident by Regina Police on March 15.
