The Moose Jaw Police Service has laid charges against an adult male after finding firearms and drugs.

According to Police, they were executing a search warrant on Wednesday on the 1100 block of Caribou Street East. After arriving, officers found two stolen firearms, a handgun and a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition and a small amount of Methamphetamine.

Various charges were laid against one male, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, tampering with the serial number, and possession of a stolen firearm. Another adult male and female were involved, but are not facing any charges and were released.

The accused will remain in police custody, and appear for court at a later date.

Officers continue to investigate, stating that there could be more charges laid in the future.
