An update has been provided on Thursday's plane crash east of the Swift Current airport.

The small, single engine plane that crashed just after 7:04 p.m. was carrying two occupants that have been identified as two males from Quebec.

One is a 60-year old male from Saint-Felix-De-Dalquier and the second is a 35-year-old-male from Saint-Remi.

The investigation is now being led by a team from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
