A summer tradition in Moose Jaw will not be back this year. Motif has been cancelled due to a lack of funding.

A letter issued this week from organizers explained the 44th edition of the multicultural event has been called off after circumstances arose that indicated it would be irresponsible to host the event, due to no longer being economically or administratively viable for 2018.

The board says they will now turn their focus to trying to get Motif back for July 2019. You can read the letter below.
