Moose Jaw continues to be under a deep freeze with the cold temperatures and more snowfall on the way this weekend.

The mercury isn't expected to hit above minus 19 for Saturday.  While conditions will warm up a bit for Sunday to minus 12, a light wind will cause the temperature to feel more like minus 25.

A bit more snow fell in the Friendly City overnight on Friday.  We can expect about two more centimetres to fall throughout the day on Saturday.  More on the way for Sunday as well.

Highways around Moose Jaw appear to be in decent shape despite the snow we received overnight on Friday.  On the Trans-Canada and highways in the Moose Jaw area you can expect some icy and slippery section, loose and swirling snow and reduced visibility in spots.
