Today (November 30th) is the day work was to be complete on High Street as part of the cast iron water replacement program in Moose Jaw.   With an eye on the deadline, DiscoverMooseJaw.com spoke with Moose Jaw City manager Matt Noble.  The road ahead may not be smooth.

"There's going to be a number of issues and we've consulted with the contractor and advised them that we are going to have issues." said Noble. "We will be meeting with them after November 30th to state our position with them on the various deficiencies."

The work has been delayed and impacted by a number of issues over the last several months, but despite those delays Noble said the city was expecting the work covered in the contract to be finished.

"We're told that they will have completed all of the service connections for people that asked for them by November 30th".

"The main thing is that people have service connections and sewer services, those that asked for them, that those are delivered, and that the street is buttoned up and usable for traffic".
