It's day two of meetings for the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Producers Association Of Saskatchewan as they're gathering at the Grant Hall in Moose Jaw for their annual retreat with discussions surrounding recommendations to the federal government's technical carbon pricing paper.

APAS members are concerned what a involuntary national carbon pricing plan would have on the ag sector in the prairies, hoping to discover a process to "maximize potential contributions" through extended research.

Attendees will be in Saskatoon next month for another two day conference called the Prairie Agricultural Carbon Summit.
