169 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan Wednesday, with 38 of the new cases located in Saskatoon, 35 in the northwest, 30 in Regina, 28 in the north-central region, 13 in the far northeast, three in the far northwest, two in the far north-central, two in the northeast, two in the central-east, two in the south-central zone, one in the central-west, one in the southwest, and one in the southeast. 11 of the new cases are pending resident information.

154 recoveries were also announced, and 4,213 cases considered active.

124 people are in hospital, with 94 receiving inpatient care, and 30 people in intensive care.

The seven-day average of daily new cases is 243, or 20.1 new cases per 100,000 residents.
