Eleven residents who had tested positive for COVID-19 have died, marking the largest one day increase in the number of COVID-19 deaths in the province since the start of the pandemic.

274 new cases were also announced, with 78 located in Saskatoon, 57 in Regina, 43 in the northwest, 23 in the north-central, 19 in the far north east, 13 in the central-east, 12 in the south-central zone, 10 in the south east, eight in the far northwest, five in the northeast, two in the central-west and two in the southwest. Two of the new cases are pending resident information. 

713 recoveries were also announced, marking the highest single day increase of recoveries since the pandemic began.

4,097 cases are considered active.

"It is anticipated that the number of cases designated as “active” will decline as older cases are reviewed and potentially shifted to recovered status.  This work is ongoing."

118 people are in hospital, with 95 receiving inpatient care, and 23 are in intensive care.
