The Elaine Osmachenko rink opened the 2018 Travelers Curling Club Championship with a split on Day 1 in New Brunswick on Tuesday.
Team Saskatchewan kicked off the event with a 5-3 loss to Alberta in the morning draw and then bounced back to beat B.C, 7-4, in the afternoon.
The local team returns to the ice for two games on Wednesday, as the round robin continues, they go against Nunavut at 7 a.m. and the Northwest Territories at 2 p.m.
