Florence Amelia Farnel (née Paul), aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Monday, October 16^th, 2017.  Florence was born on the family farm at Findlater, SK and received her education at Sunset School.  She married Newton Farnel on October 7^th, 1949 and together they raised 8 children.  They stayed on the family farm until 1964, when they moved to Tuxford, SK where she resided until moving to Moose Jaw in 1972.  She was predeceased by her husband, Newton; daughter, Judy; son, Les; daughter-in-law, Sandy; and her beloved dog, Missy.  Florence will be lovingly remembered by her family: Doug (Brenda), Keith (Donna), Ron (Lori), Marilyn (Dennis) Waller, Gail (Yvan) Veillette, and Wayne; daughter-in-law, Diane; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Bitz and Glady Stewart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Florence’s Life will be held on Friday, October 20^th, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, 561 Home St W, Moose Jaw, SK.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Florence’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
