A spot in the gold medal game is on the line for Team Canada on Wednesday at the World Junior Hockey Championship, as they have a date with their arch rivals - the United States. Team Canada is coming off a 4-3 overtime win over Slovakia on Monday, while the US skated to an 11-1 win over Germany. The puck drop is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST. 

In the other semi-final, it will be Moose Jaw Warriors forward Martin Rysavy and Team Czechia taking on Sweden this afternoon at 1:30 CST. 

Rysavy's teammates are in Lethbridge on Wednesday night, as the Warriors battle the Hurricanes at the Enmax Centre with the 8:00 p.m. CST puck drop. Catch all the action on Country 100 with James Gallo - the voice of the Warriors on the call. 

The Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors are looking to start 2023 with a win on Wednesday as they welcome the Warman Wildcats to the Moose Jaw Events Centre for the first time this season. The puck drop is slated for 8:00 p.m. and tickets for Wednesday's affair can be bought at SaskTix.ca. 

To the NHL we go... all seven Canadian teams were in action on Tuesday. Starting out east it was the Maple Leafs losing 6-5 in a shootout to St. Louis, Ottawa blanked the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-0, and Montreal was doubled up by Nashville 6-3. In the west, an all-Canadian matchup between Calgary and Winnipeg went to the Jets 3-2, Edmonton lost to Seattle 5-2, and Vancouver fell 6-2 to the New York Islanders. 

And the Toronto Raptors tip off a six-game homestand on Wednesday when they play the Milwaukee Bucks. The 16-21 Raptors have lost nine of their past 12 games. The Raptors lost 122-114 to the Pacers in Indianapolis on Monday.
