The Moose Jaw Warriors finished off their two-weel road trip this weekend with a pair of wins, making for six in a row. The Warriors doubled up against the Thunderbirds in Seattle with a 4-2 win on Saturday, and shutout the Wenatchee Wild 3-0 on Sunday. Goalie Jackson Unger made 35 saves last night, with Jagger Firkus, Atley Calvert, and Brayden Yager each coming away with a goal apiece. 

The Warriors will be back on home turf this Friday, facing off against the Regina Pats at the Moose Jaw Events Centre with puck drop at 7 p.m.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors started playoffs with a 4-1 loss to the Regina Pat Canadians. They next face the Pat Canadians tonight at the Moose Jaw Events Centre with puck drop at 7:45 p.m. 

Central Collegiate's wrestling team competed at Regionals over the weekend, with Paisley Patrosh and Hailey Newans both getting 1st place wins, Eisa Tondevold getting 2nd, and Macey Kinsfeld getting 4th. They're all headed to Regionals. 

Peacock's girls curling team is going to provincials. Avonlea senior boys curlers are the Southwest Regional Curling Champions, and are also headed to provincials. 

Over to the Montana's Brier in Regina - the weekend saw McEwen's Team Saskatchewan beat both PEI and Canada 7-6, and get a third win over Alberta, 6-5. McEwen's 3-0 team next faces off against Manuel's 0-3 Nova Scotia team tonight at 7 p.m.

NHL last night... the Winnipeg Jets beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-2, it was the Vancouver Canucks with a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks, and the Edmonton Oilers won 6-1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
