The Saskatchewan Roughriders are getting set to open their 2018 training camp this weekend at Griffiths Stadium on the University of Saskatchewan campus.

The team will hit the field for its first practice of camp on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. They will practice at the same time every morning over the next week with the workouts being split between Griffiths Stadium and SMF Field at Gordie Howe Sports Complex.

The Riders will head to Edmonton for their first preseason game against the Eskimos on Sunday, May 27.

After returning from the Alberta capital, the Riders will again return to practice at Griffiths Stadium before hosting their annual Green and White Day on June 2 at SMF Field. The team will also travel to Humboldt for a walkthrough on June 3.

The Riders continue practices in Saskatoon until June 7 when they will hold a walkthrough at Mosaic Stadium before battling the Calgary Stampeders in their preseason finale on June 8.
