The Grey Cup could be on its way back to Riderville.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders confirmed on their website on Tuesday that the team will be officially bidding for the 2020 Grey Cup.

The game would coincide with the Roughriders organization's 110th-anniversary celebration.

Saskatchewan has previously hosted the Grey Cup on three occasions (1995, 2003, and 2013). This would be the first game played at the new Mosaic Stadium.

If the Riders are awarded the 2020 championship game, it would mark three straight Grey Cups played in the West Division with Edmonton hosting this November and Calgary in 2019.

According to riderville.com, a winning bid is expected to be announced later this year.
