The Prairie South School Division is now looking at seven schools and what they can do to make them more efficient or if they have to close them.

 

There are meetings next week at Moose Jaw's Ross School and out at Chaplin.

We've already had meeting with Community Councils in Willow Bunch, Crane Valley, Briercrest, Limerick and Eyebrow as the Prairie South School Board has 7 schools "under review" right now.

Board Chair Gordon Stewart says this is a very difficult time for all involved. "

The local school board reviewing operations as they face a deficit of more than 5 million dollars. It's likely some of the schools will close and it's also a good possibility that staff will be cut.
