Lumsden and Broadview RCMP are looking for the public's help after 2 or 3 suspects attempted to steal an ATM from a financial institution in Lumsden, while 2 others successfully took a machine from the Conexus Credit Union in Whitewood.

On Sept 9th, an off-duty RCMP officer came across individuals trying to take an ATM out of a building in Lumsden with their truck, but they quickly left the area after being spotted. Police were unable to find the individuals or their vehicle.

Then the next day, closed circuit surveillance caught 2 suspects on tape stealing the ATM. The culprits were wearing blue coveralls with reflective markings, hoodies, baseball hats, and gloves. Both had their faces covered.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Broadview or Lumsden RCMP or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). Crimestoppers offers up to $2,000 for anyone with any information that leads to the arrest of these two, or any other suspects.
