Last night, June, 28, Moose Jaw resident Amy Metcalf spotted what appears to be an albino white-tailed deer.

Metcalf was returning to Moose Jaw from Buffalo Pound when she managed to capture this footage of the deer and its companion.

It is unclear whether this deer is a true albino deer or simply a specimen with white-haired genetics. A true albino deer would have a pink-tinted snout and hooves, while an all-white deer would still have a black nose and feet.

While definitely a rare sight, all-white deer like this have been photographed in the area of Buffalo Pound before.
