449 new cases of COVID-19 were announced in Saskatchewan on Monday, a record for the most cases announced in a single day.

According to a post on the Government of Saskatchewan's Facebook, 387 (86%) of the new cases were in individuals who are unvaccinated, 48 (11%) are fully vaccinated, and 14 (3%) are partially vaccinated. 

148 of the new cases are in the 0-to-19 age group, 84 were in the 30-39 age group, and 75 were reported in the 20-29 age group.

There are currently 209 people in hospital, and four deaths were also reported Monday. At least one death has been reported 18 of the last 19 days in the province.

414 recoveries were also announced, and 3,776 cases are currently considered active. 

The Government of Saskatchewan also announced that they have been unable to update their COVID-19 online dashboard Monday due to technical issues. We will have more information once they are able to update the dashboard.
