They say we're making "significant strides in community development".

Moose Jaw's Regional Economic Development Authority updating us on the "Pride and Promise" project.  It's a consortium of community groups interested in the advancement of our city.

REDA's Diana Ireland points out one of the most encouraging signs is the local real estate market.  "We've had really good, strong home sales in the past year and we expect this to continue," said Ireland.

So far this year, total home sales are topping 8.5 million dollars in Moose Jaw.  That's a 39 percent increase over the same time period last year.

REDA, the Chamber of Commerce and several other commuity groups are meeting on a regular basis with an eye on growing our city by attracting business and industry.
