Moose Jaw Police responded to 49 calls for service.  

8:12 am – Theft of Auto – Sometime overnight a vehicle was stolen. The incident is under investigation for charges. 

9:21 am – Hit and Run – Approximately $1,000 of damage resulted. There were no injuries, and the incident is still under investigation. 

9:41 am – Dog Bylaw – The owner was spoken to and warned regarding barking dogs under the bylaw. 

10:29 am – Abandoned Dog – A dog had been tied up and abandoned in the middle of an alley. The Humane Society was contacted, and the incident is still under investigation. 

11:27 am – Assistance to Sick Person – The subject was taken to the hospital and was left in the care of staff. 

1:20 pm – Vehicle Seizure – The driver of a vehicle was found to have and invalid License during a traffic stop. The vehicle was seized for 30 days and the subject was issued a ticket. 

1:44 pm – Dangerous Dog – Over the weekend the caller’s dog had been attacked by another dog. The owner of the dangerous dog was spoken to as per the caller’s wishes and was warned under the bylaw. 

2:22 pm – MVA – Three vehicles were involved. This resulted in approximately $30,000 of damage, no injuries and one vehicle being towed. 

5:35 pm – Wellbeing Check – The subject was located in good health and was left in the care of family. 

5:53 pm – Theft – Sometime during the day an item was taken from a residence. The incident is still under investigation for possible charges. 

7:16 pm – Dispute – The subjects were spoken to and the situation was mediated. 

8:56 pm – Dangerous Driving – The vehicle was located and the driver was in training. They were advised to stop for the night. 

10:07 pm – Dispute – The subjects were spoken to and the situation was mediated for the night. 

11:37 pm – Wellbeing Check – The subjects were found to be in good health. 

1:41am – Intoxicated Person – The subject was located and taken home for the night. 

Police responded to nine 911 calls. 
Police assisted other government agencies in four cases. 
Police made ten charges for breaches of recognizance. 
Police made two charges for breaches of undertaking.
