Moose Jaw Police responded to 45 calls for service.  

10:10 am – Abandoned Vehicle – A vehicle was left on the side of the road for a couple days. This is still under investigation. 

10:31 am – Threats – An adult was threatening to smash windows, and was upset with the housing situation.  This is still under investigation to follow up with the landlord. 

11:26 am – Attempted Fraud – An adult received the phone call regarding their SIN number being suspended and a warrant issued. The caller was advised it is a scam that’s been going on for several years.  They did not take part.  The public is reminded that if they’re contacted and told they need to buy any type of gift card as payment to (win money or get out of a warrant) this IS A SCAM – do not take part and hang up the phone. 

11:28 am – Threats – A caller was receiving threatening messages, and the suspect was known. This is still under investigation. 

2:01 pm – Assist EMS – An adult in distress was taken to hospital for treatment. 

2:19 pm – Erratic Driving – There was a report of reckless driving through a parking lot. The parent (owner) was contacted. 

2:42 pm – Prohibited Driving – An adult was charged criminally for Prohibited Driving. 

5:41 pm – Dispute – A young person was on a roof, there was a family dispute, and the youth jumped down and ran away.  The situation was mediated. 

6:51 pm – Trespass – Two adults were misbehaving in store.  They were trespassed from property. 

7:50 pm – Dispute – A rental dispute was mediated. 

9:54 pm – Impaired Driving – An adult failed a roadside breath test. The individual was arrested and gave breath samples.  They were charged as impaired and exceeding .08. 

10:05 pm – Assist Locate – A youth failed to return to their care home by curfew. This is still under investigation. 

Police completed six wellbeing checks. 
Police responded to seven 911 calls.
