Moose Jaw Police responded to 54 calls for service.

7:10 am – Wellbeing Check – A neighbour had not been seen for awhile. They were located and everything was fine.

9:18 am – A person was sleeping on the shoulder of a road.  The individual was hitchhiking and needed a rest.

10:28 am – Youths were shooting marbles at people.  The kids were located and the parents were to be spoken to.

10:51 am – Theft From Vehicle – A vehicle had been ransacked and the registration was taken.

11:25 am – Theft of Bike – A green Clay Cannondale Foray was taken sometime in the last week.

11:40 am – Male Yelling at People – The individual could be heard over the noise of construction.  He was spoken to and sent on his way.

12:02 pm – Threats – Threats were made via text and emails.  Police are still investigating.

12:22 pm – Damage to Vehicle and Threats – There was damage to a mirror on a truck. The situation was mediated.

1:15 pm – Threats – A person threatened the complainant’s boyfriend.  The suspect was to be spoken to.

2:26 pm – Hit and Run to Vehicle – There was approximately $3000 of damage.  A licence review is to be completed.

3:14 pm – Family Dispute – The situation was mediated.

3:55 pm – Breach of Recognizance – A condition of an order was breached.  The person is to be charged.

4:27 pm – Hit and Run to Vehicle – This resulted in approximately $500 of damage.  There are no witnesses or suspects.

5:15 pm – Family Dispute – Both parties were spoken to.  Police will follow up.

7:08 pm – Custody Dispute – The situation was mediated. 

8:02 pm – Fire Alarm Heard – The Fire Deptartment attended.  A boiler had overheated, and a plumber attended to repair.

9:12 pm – Suspicious Person – A male was looking in basement windows.  The individual was looking for work with contractors, and was advised to do so during the day.

9:23 pm – Disturbance – Two people were arguing.  Both parties were spoken to and the situation was mediated. 

10:31 pm – Assist EMS – One person is to be charged with breaching conditions.

12:00 am – Intoxicated Person – The individual was taken to hospital by ambulance and was held there overnight.

2:55 am – Three people were going through yards.  The area was checked thoroughly but police were unable to locate the suspects.  Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.

Police executed two warrants.
Police responded to six 911 calls.
