Moose Jaw Police responded to 37 calls for service.

7:58 am – 0 Block Stadacona St W – Theft Under –  A vehicle was broken into and a cell phone and approximately $20 of change were taken. There are no suspects or witnesses.

8:58 am – 800 Block Chester Rd - Theft Under – A license plate was stolen off a motorcycle.

9:16 am – Block Stadacona St W-  Dispute – Other – Two suspects were having an altercation, screaming and throwing items at each other. All was quiet on police arrival.

11:47 am – 900 Block Athabasca St W - Found Drugs Turned In – A bag of drugs was found on the sidewalk. Prescription drugs were turned over to a local drugstore for disposal.

12:06 pm – 500 Thatcher Dr E - Vehicle Hit – This happened in a parking lot, causing approximately $500 of damage.

1:48 pm – 100 Block Woodlily Dr - Parking Bylaw – An unattached cargo trailer was parked on the street for over 2 months. The owner was located and the trailer has been moved.

3:12 pm – 0 Block Lancaster Rd – Disturbance – A suspect was causing problems at the mosque. Police are still investigating.

3:46 pm - 4th Ave NW at Hochelaga St W - Driving Dangerous – A complaint was received that vehicles aren’t yielding at an uncontrolled intersection. Police attended and monitored the area.

4:13 pm - 4th Ave NE at Fairford St E - Found Property – A men’s wallet was found. Police contacted the owner and he attended the station and picked it up.

4:51 pm - 0 Block Manitoba St E - Well Being Check – A complaint was received about a dog left in a vehicle with the windows down slightly. The owner showed up prior to police arrival and no further action was needed.

5:04 pm – 700 Block Lillooet St W - Theft Under – An unlocked vehicle was entered and approximately $20 of change was taken and the vehicle was rummaged through.

9:29 pm - 1100 Block Willow Ave – Youth were lighting off fireworks in local park. Police attended and the youth were gone.

11:27 pm – 1600 Block Pascoe Cr - Break and Enter - A residence was broken into and $2000 worth of items were stolen. Police are still investigating.

1:22 am - 400 Block Main St N - Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave a local business. Police attended and the subject was gone.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in two cases.
Police executed one warrant.
