Moose Jaw Police responded to 21 calls for service.

10:10 am – 600 Block Coteau St W – Unknown 911 – There was a 911 hang up call. Police attended and found two parties in an altercation. Upon speaking with those involved, it was determined it was not a police matter, and one party received an explanation on the proper uses of 911.

11:59 am – 0 Block Taylor Cres – Dispute – Two parties were in dispute over a vehicle. Police spoke with one party and explained that it was a civil matter.

3:27 pm – 300 Block Fairford St W – Dispute – A complainant’s care taker keeps entering their unit without prior consultation. Police are investigating to speak with the complainant and sort out a solution.

7:07 pm – 400 Block Trinity Lane – 911 Call – A person dialled 911 but did not need any actual assistance. Police spoke to someone else in the residence and confirmed that everyone is okay.

8:42 pm – 0 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Assist Other Agency – Police attended to the area to assist with an unruly patient as a situation was escalating. The situation was mediated.

8:59 pm – 200 Block High St E – Unwanted Guest – A complainant called and stated they had seen two persons with knives. Police attended and found the party based on a vague description. It was found that no criminal activity including the knives occurred, and that the complainant just did not want these parties around.

9:55 pm – 800 Block Chester Rd – Dispute – Two parties were in dispute. One left, and the complainant was concerned for the other person’s well being. Prior to police arrival, the party that left returned. Police attended to mediate the situation.

11:48 pm – 1100 Block Currie Cres – Harassing Calls – A complainant called stating they are receiving harassing texts from a random texting app, which were threatening their property. Police attended to the area but did not find anything as described via the person who was texting the complainant. Police spoke to the complainant and confirmed their property was okay.

12:23 am – 0 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Unwanted Guest – A patient was seen by hospital staff and released, but was now refusing to leave the premises. Police attended. The subject was brought to cells and was charged with threats and mischief.

4:30 am – 1200 Block Athabasca St W – Theft from Motor Vehicle – A complainant called in and stated they saw at least three individuals enter a vehicle nearby, and that they may be entering others in the area. Police attended to the area and tracked down the described party. Charges were laid in conjunction with the confirmed theft.
