Police responded to 25 calls for service.

8:31 am – 300 block Main St N – Hit & Run – A caller reported a hit and run that happened to their vehicle. Approximately $5 000 damage was done. There was one tow and police are still investigating to review video footage.

10:20 am – 600 block 9th Av NW – Towed Vehicle – A vehicle was towed following a traffic stop for having expired plates.

11:21 am – 9th Av NW at Macdonald St – Vehicle Accident – Two vehicles were involved. There was approximately $30 000 of damage and one driver was issued a ticket for proceeding from a stop sign before safe.

11:23 am – 500blk Thatcher Dr E – Theft – A subject stole multiple items from a commercial establishment. Approximately $1 800 of property was recovered. Police are still investigating to review video footage.

12:05 pm – 600 block 4th Av SW – Warrant Executed – A subject was arrested on two warrants and was released with conditions and a later court date.

1:01 pm – 1000 block Willow Av – Vehicle Accident – Two vehicles were involved and approximately $25 000 of damage was done.

3:53 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Threats – A complainant was receiving threats via email. Police are still investigating to review evidence of harassment.

5:06 pm – 1300 block 12th Av SW – Breach of Court Order – A complainant reported seeing two adult subjects together despite one of them being on conditions of no contact with the other. A statement was obtained and police are still investigating for charges.

6:49 pm – 0 block Athabasca St W – Unwanted Guest – A subject refused to leave an establishment. The subject left the premises upon police request.

7:21 pm – 9th Av NW at Thatcher Dr W – Vehicle Accident – The two vehicles involved were blocking traffic. Approximately $12 000 of damage was done. There were two tows, and one ticket was issued for breaching the traffic safety act.

8:17 pm – 0 block Maple St E – Well Being Check – A complainant called in regards to wanting a well-being check done on a family member. Police spoke with the subject who stated that all is fine.
