Moose Jaw Police responded to 43 calls for service.

10:26 am – 1100 block 1st Av NW – Breach of Court Order – Two adults were charged with breaching their court orders.

10:57 am – 400 block Main St N – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was being driven by a suspended driver. The vehicle was seized by police.

12:17 pm – 0 block River St E – Theft of Auto – A subject broke into a family member’s house and stole their vehicle. The subject was charged with taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, breaching of a court order and unlawfully being in a dwelling.

12:48 pm – Ross Cr at 3rd Av NE – Vehicle Accident – This was a single vehicle accident with one vehicle being towed, $3 000 in damage and one ticket issued for driving too fast for road conditions.

1:49 pm – 0 block High St W – Mischief – A complainant called in regards to their vehicle being splashed with white paint. After further investigation, police concluded that the white paint was in fact bird droppings.

2:33 pm – 1200 block Iroquois Dr – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle has been parked in the same spot for an extended period of time. Tires were marked and are to be checked again in 72 hours.

2:58 pm – 600 block 2nd Av NE – Dispute – A neighbour stole the complainant’s squirrel feed. The subject was simply tired of squirrels and gave the peanuts back.

3:07 pm – 4th Av SW at Coteau St W – Vehicle Accident – There was a two vehicle collision. This resulted in one minor injury, one vehicle being towed and one ticket being issued for failing to hold a license.

3:42 pm – 400 block Lillooet St W – Warrant Executed – A subject was arrested on multiple warrants and was released with a later court date.

4:01 pm – 100 block Fairford St E – Threats – A subject was making threats toward staff members.  The subject was spoken to by police.

5:07 pm – Main St N at Caribou St E – Vehicle Accident – Two vehicles were involved, and there was $3 000 of damage.

5:33 pm – 400 block Lillooet St W – Suspicious Person – A subject was wandering the parking lot for an hour and had been acting weird. The subject had lost their bus money and was taken home by police.

7:33 pm – 0 block Home St E – Vehicle Accident – One vehicle was involved. The vehicle was towed, and there was one minor injury, $7 500 damage and two tickets were issued.

8:36 pm – 200 block Iroquois St E – Assist to Locate – A worker contacted police in regards to a resident breaching their rules. The subject was located and charged with possession of an illegal substance and breaching a court order.

10:15 pm – 600 block Fairford St E – Well Being Check – Family members were worried about a subject as they had not heard from them in a while. The subject was located and advised that they were fine.

10:25 pm – 1000 block Hochelaga St W – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was being driven by a suspended driver. The vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days.

12:55 am – 1200 block Irving Av – Noise Bylaw – A complainant called in regards to their neighbour having a loud party. There was stereo noise upon police arrival. The subject was warned by police of the noise bylaw.

1:53 am – 1200 block 11th Av SW – Noise Bylaw – A complainant called in regards to their neighbours making noise. The subject was warned of the noise bylaw.

2:08 am – 1300 block 1st Av NW – Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle was spotted running with the windows down. No one was inside or around the vehicle. The registered owner was contacted and advised that they had boosted their vehicle the previous day and forgotten about it.

6:06 am – 100 block Coteau St E – Alarm Call – Police were called in regards to an alarm call coming from a private residence. The homeowner was fed up with the alarm system and threw it out of the window.

Police executed one warrant.
