Moose Jaw Police responded to 50 calls for service.

7:55 am – 400 Block North Service Rd – Assist Fire Department– Moose Jaw Police Service assisted the Fire Department at a fire; there were no injuries, and the fire is not considered suspicious.

8:50 am – 0 Block Fairford St W - Fail to Attend Fingerprints – Four warrants were issued for subjects who failed to attend Moose Jaw Police Service for fingerprinting.

9:19 am – 1035 Athabasca St E – Stolen Auto – A blue 1999 Lincoln Continental bearing Saskatchewan plate 708 KJJ was stolen. A stolen auto form was signed and the vehicle has been added to the Canada-wide system.

10:26 am – Breach Probation – Three warrants were issued for subjects who failed to comply with conditions of their probation order.

11:38 am – 300 Block MacDonald St – MVA with Injuries – Moose Jaw Police, Fire Department and EMS attended to a two vehicle collision in a parking lot. Damage is estimated at $30,000, one vehicle was towed, and one person was taken to the hospital by EMS for precautionary reasons.

12:18 pm – 100 Block Duffield St – Breach Recognizance – A subject was warned for unwanted contact as per the complainant’s wishes.

12:33 pm – 800 Block 5th Ave NW – Theft Under – A subject entered a back yard and took some recyclables. A description was given, and the complainant would like the subject spoken to and warned not to enter yards. Police are still investigating to attempt to locate the subject and warn them.

12:38 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St W – Assault – An assault occurred on January 1st, a statement was taken, and the subject is to be charged.

12:52 pm – 500 Block Athabasca St E – Dispute – There was a custody dispute with one party seeking advice. Options were given and the incident is to be documented.

1:26 pm – 100 Block High St W – Landlord/Tenant Dispute – Police spoke to the complainant, and the subject was referred to the Rentalsman.

1:37 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – MVA – Police assisted with name exchange at a non-reportable collision.

2:08 pm – Vaughan St at 10th Ave SW – MVA – A two vehicle collision occurred with no injuries, damage estimated at $20,000, and one charge for failing to yield the right of way.

3:32 pm – 0 Block Iroquois St E – MVA – Police assisted with name exchange for a non-reportable MVA.

3:41 pm – 1200 Block 9th Ave NW – Theft Under – Police are investigating possible charges for theft of gas.

5:37 pm – Caribou St W at 13th Ave NW – MVA Over – There was a two vehicle collision with no injuries. The damage is estimated at $20,000 and both vehicles were towed; one driver was charged with proceeding from a stop sign before it was safe.

5:41 pm – 200 Block Hochelaga St E – Unwanted Guest – The subject left prior to police arrival. Family members were advised of the procedure to obtain a mental health warrant.

5:54 pm – 100 Block Stadacona St W – Landlord/Tenant Dispute – Police spoke to the complainant, discussed options, and advised the subject to contact the Rentalsman for further assistance.

6:38 pm – 900 Block Main St N – Intoxicated Person – There was a report of an intoxicated person who was refusing to leave. The subject was located outside of a business and was brought to cells and held until sober.

8:34 pm – Hall St W at 9th Ave NW – Intoxicated Person – The subject was located, brought to cells, and held until sober.

8:52 pm – 500 Block Laurier St – Fraud – A complainant is out $250 after sending $250 to someone claiming to be an Apple employee. They reported this for information purposes.

9:08 pm – 300 Block Lillooet St W – Dispute – A dispute occurred between neighbours. Police mediated.

10:26 pm – 1500 Block Smith St – Assistance to Sick Person – A subject was located, brought to the hospital and left in their care.

11:26 pm – Breach Undertaking – A subject was not home for court ordered curfew and is to be charged.

11:26 pm – Breach Recognizance – A subject was not home for court ordered curfew and is to be charged.

11:52 pm – 500 Block Fairford St E – Mischief – Attempted entry was made to a vehicle. There was no damage and nothing was taken. The incident was reported for information purposes.

1:50 am – 1200 Block 11th Ave SW – Dispute – A dispute occurred between two parties. Police mediated.

Police responded to ten 911 calls.
